PROJECT SUMMARY
A pair of interactive installations designed to bring hands-on creativity to life. One lets children create swirling “water” effects on a projected wall through touchless interaction; the other transforms children’s colored drawings into animated 3D creatures that appear inside a digital habitat.
We redesigned an aging children’s exhibit by creating two new digital experiences. In one, LiDAR sensors track movement on a color wall, creating responsive water-like visuals. In the second, children color animal templates, scan them in, and watch their artwork appear as animated creatures in a virtual world that reacts to touch.
OUTCOME
The updated exhibit revitalized the children’s zone, increasing visitor engagement and providing a modern, interactive experience that encourages creativity.
