PROJECT SUMMARY
A hybrid mechanical–digital installation was designed to visualize the innovative technology behind TGL’s dynamic putting greens. Using a small-scale mechanism with eight precision jacks, the display physically reshapes a miniature putting surface in real time as guests explore elevation presets and animations.
We created an interactive display showcasing the technology behind TGL’s dynamic greens. Using a small-scale model with eight jacks, visitors can see how elevation changes shape the green. A polished cabinet with an acrylic top houses the mechanism, while a touchscreen lets users explore preset configurations. As guests interact with the touchscreen, the system adjusts eight mechanical jacks beneath an acrylic surface while synchronized lighting and media content explain the underlying technology. The exhibit now sits in the Green Zone concourse of the SoFi Center, offering spectators an engaging look at TGL’s innovative technology.
OUTCOME
The interactive display became a highly effective educational piece, helping fans and visitors understand the engineering behind TGL’s groundbreaking greens.
